I had been struggling to control my drone lately, and it became clear that something was off. So, I took off my goggles and decided to do some troubleshooting. I noticed that every time I tried to lift off, the drone would veer to the left. Recalibrating the accelerometer didn't seem to fix the issue, so I decided to take a closer look at the propellors.
After removing them, I found a bunch of hair and dirt clogging them up. I cleaned everything out and also did a motor check on betaflight. I noticed that one of the motors was making more noise than the others, but upon inspection, it didn't appear to be damaged.
I put the propellors back on and tested the drone again, but the problem persisted. That's when I decided to switch out the old propellors with a new set. And just like that, the issue was resolved.
I loved this, as tough as it goes, the better the feeling when I overcome the problems.
